Keep outcome measurement in heart disease simple. One single instrument, scientifically tested for the major types of heart disease: angina, myocardial infarction, heart failure and arrythmia, allows you to compare different treatment options, e.g. cardiac rehabilitation on one single metric, simplifying your outcome measurement.

The MacNew Health-related Quality of Life Instrument has now been successfully psychometrically tested for all four major types of heart disease:

  • angina
  • myocardial infarction
  • heart failure
  • arrhythmia

It is currently the recommended patient-rated outcome measure in cardiology for German speaking patients, where the same treatment options (e.g. cardiac rehabilitation, stenting, etc.) are offered to patients with different underlying diagnosis.
