Three new language versions available

The MacNew continues to be the leading patient reported outcome measure for heart disease world wide. The Asian-Pacific focus of MacNew is constantly growing with three additional language versions now available: Kannada (India), Malayalam (India) and Indonesian (Indonesia).

Kannada and Malayalam is spoken by over 100 Million people in India, and Indonesian as the official language of Indonesia is spoken by over 200 Million people.

This extends the Asian-Pacific MacNew versions to eleven: Sinhalese (Sri Lanka), Tagalog (Philipines), simplified Chinese (Mainland China, Singapore), traditional Chinese (Hong Kong and Taiwan), Korean (South Korea), Japanese (Japan), Malay (Malaysa) and Thai (Thailand). The MacNew can now be applied for health policy, clinical audit, medical research or clinical practice in over 15 countries in the Asian – Pacific region allowing state of the art patient reported outcome measurement and monitoring health-related quality of life of over 1 billion people.
