MacNew goes Asia

We are very proud to announce three new MacNew language versions for Asia. The MacNew is now officially available in Tagalog (Philipines), simplified Chinese (Mainland China, Singapore) and Korean (South Korea).
All translatation processes followed a rigerous and repeated forward – backward translation strategy assuring language and cultural adaptation.
These three new language versions complement the existing Asian MacNew version (traditional Chinese [Hong Kong and Taiwan], Japanese, Malay and Thai). In total there are now 7 Asian languages versions available, allowing to assess and report the health-related quality of life of over 1 billion people.
The MacNew is the only international patient reported outcome measure adressing physial, emotional and social aspects of live which can be affected by heart diseaes such as angina, myocardial infarction or heart failure.
